Take the money you would have spent on it, whether it's $5 or $100, and send it to the Red Cross.

Some Americans may not believe in sacrificing for those in need, but I do. Democrats do. There will be other Labor Days for me and mine. But some of my fellow Americans have lost everything. And canceling any Labor Day plans and sending anything extra I have, even though it's not much, is better than nothing.

God knows the bush administration is doing enough nothing for everyone.
