What a show of compassion that would be - Bush could cut out a hundred acres at his place. Then he could direct the Army to immediately set up emergency tent shelter for thousands. Mess and clinic facilities as well of course. The air force will take care of the transportation of refugees - C5A and all that sort of thing.

What a Presidential show of compassion that would be. Daddy-George and Babs could make an immediate donation of a million dollars for food and water to tide things over for a day or so until the rest of the Compassionate Conservatives kick in their cash.
