Katrina is a devastating storm. New Orleans has no food or drinking water. Have we heard anything from Bush. Has he mobilized federal troops to alleviate the situation. Where is George? He was on vacation yesterday and delivering a speech on the 60th anniversary of the end of WW2. Do you think just maybe the president should be proactive. How long would George last without water? Oh! he must be riding his bike can't miss his workout. Just a little self involved. Great leadership and eerily reminiscent to the first 48 hours after 9/11. Just keep reading My pet goat.

3. I heard on NPR this morning... |
|
... that he's "cutting his 'vacation' two days short to co-ordinate the relief effort." Which I imagine to involve champaign and oysters on the Potomac for him and his buddies and sending the bill to FEMA.

5. He's up flying in his nice big white airplane. Remember, he couldn't stand |
|
the strain of flying all the way from California to Washington in one day, so he had to rest up at his ranch overnight.
Poor boy. All that hard work.
