Price of Coffee to increase due to Katrina |
|
Ron Reagan on MSNBC just reported that coffee prices will be going up because NO was a big coffee port. Lots of warehouses where imported coffee was stored are believed to be a total loss.
Well, maybe it's just as well that people will not be able to afford to drive their cars. Think of all of those drivers without their morning cup of joe. It could be dangerous.

6. I wouldn't be surprised. |

I am just feeling so angry today. How many people will freeze to death this winter because they can't afford heating oil or natural gas? And poor people better not count on any federal energy assistance. Bush and his cronies are pretty much incapable of human empathy. Elimination of the "death" tax for the heirs of the ultra wealthy is a bigger priority.

The standing rule in my house is no one makes any demands of me until I've had at least one cup of coffee.
