Google "Kyra Phillips" +"Scott Ritter" and see what comes up. Phillips was an instrumental part of CNN's campaign to slime Ritter -- from dedicated Marine and UNSCOM head to traitor and pedophile.

In the run-up to the Iraq invasion, the Ritter/CNN episode stands out in my mind as one of the more repulsive pieces of character destruction. For a fascinating look at CNN's role in this particularly filthy bit of business, have a look at Mark Crispin Miller's "Cruel and Unusual..."
