Gas price survey: Gas prices have gone completely insane
I unfortunately have a long commute and have to fill up every fourth day or so. I was driving home tonight and curious as to how Katrina might have affected gas prices I took an informal survey of the prices posted at the stations I passed. Here is what I saw: 2.81, 2.89, 3.07, 3.15, 2.75, 2.99 and 2.95 all on the same stretch of road. The 2.81 and 3.15 were from stations across the street from each other! Usually prices are pretty uniform (a variation of no more than a few cents) this, on the other hand is completely nuts.

What are prices like in your area?

9. Because people are going insane
If you have a 1/2 tank of gas and 1/2 tank usually lasts a week, no need to fill up.
