LOL!!! Cops looting Wal-mart on Countdown
In a report from Martin Savidge on Countdown, a woman said " We need clean clothes, and food. And besides, the police said it was alright."

Savidge said, "In fact we saw the police. They're over in aisle 3".

Two New Orleans cops pushing around a shopping cart, helping themselves.

1. New Orleans cops are known for being corrupt
That is a fact. Just because cops are looting doesn't make it right anyway.

2. fuck Wal-mart
I am sorry--clean clothes, food and clean beverages are far more important than fucking Wal-mart

3. Here's my email to caffertyfile@cnn.com earlier
"I admire you for showing so much compassion for those suffering in the aftermath. With all the thousands that may have lost loved ones and still don't know, the hundreds of thousands that know they have lost everything, that you still have enough compassion left over for the looting victims to make them the top story is truly astonishing."

:puke:

7. Actually Olbermann and Savidge put it in pretty good perspective
You have no power, you're trapped by a flood, you've lost everything, everything is closed, and you need clothes, shoes, food, and water. Savidge did say I have a problem with that guy carrying out a large TV though.

And in a city with possibly thousands of dead floating around. Saving Wal-Mart isn't very high on the list of priorities.

5. Cops are people too. Especially in New Orleans
That's one of the more, er, notorious departments in the entire US. Doesn't surprise me at all that a few of them were looting.

Hope they get caught.

6. I saw those same two cops looting again today in different footage.
They were in their "street clothes" but I am 100% certain it was the same 2 women.
