Gas rationing and rapid price rising in Florida has begun.u

Prices have gone up as much as 40 cents in an hour at the same stations and over the next few days, will continue to rise and be rationed to 5 gallons per visit.

Every station I've seen has been backed up with lines of panicking people, filling up their cars and gas cans. I haven't see it this bad since last year after we were the one who got several hurricanes.

It just makes we wonder how bad this is going to get since gas was already an issue before Katrinia and will those SUV and monster pick-up loyalists finally get pissed enough to see the light. Since 5 dollars will barely give my 4 banging sub-compact a quarter tank, I can predict these gas guzzler owners will be howling long and loud.

These incidents should be a wake-up call for getting serious about alternative energy or I fear we could be looking at the very least another Oil Shock here for those of us old enough to remember it.

It's about time someone did something to make people wake up. 5 gallons will barely get some of these monster SUV drivers to work twice. I'd be lmao at these morons if they weren't screwing me too.
