Has anyone watched this Iraq War show on FX?
"Over There" it's called.

I'm curious to just how much biased it might be and if it told the real side of things. From the commercials I've seen it looks like it might be pro-war action based and if true would seem like a propaganda move to bring it out at the time of Bush's crashing poll numbers over the war.

1. There were meage-threads arguing over this show when it
first came on. Every so often I ask if anyone has seen it since, but all I hear are crickets chirping.

2. It's an amazing show. I wouldn't miss it.
I don't see how anyone who sees it wouldn't be completely convinced that this war is wrong.

3. It keeps reminding how much I disliked most officers.
And reinforced the notion that Staff NCOs and NCOs are the only ones who know what the hell they are doing.

In other words, I find it quite realistic.

4. good stories, costumes and props
overall well done,

but... (always one of those, right?)

a little heavy handed "delivering it's message" (imhop)

minor technical and jargon flub ups, but I don't think civies would know the difference.

worth the time.

You might like Shootout on the History Channel. They have a Falujah episode that is quite impressive, if you're into tactics, firefights, and personal stories.
