It's more like 2.69/2.70 for regular. Still out of control. Bush is just awful. These gas prices are unbelievable. And his handling is Katrina is just plain atrocious. At least year when all the canes hit Florida he had an election and battleground state to deal with, I guess that's the only time he'll do something semi-real.

60. Atlanta is so spread out, this may have been the case in various areas
I just saw the news and the highest they mentioned was $4.09 in Midtown or Buckhead. They had daytime footage only, so the prices are more than likely higher now.

Here is a picture from our local newspaper.

At a Suwanee Chevron station along Lawrenceville-Suwanee Highway, Nash Masalawa posts new prices with a rise from $2.89 to $3.29 for regular gas.

74. I just drove back from Omaha, Nebr. today. Cheapest is 2.79,
There are stations that are over $3.05 to $3.27.

Crazy. As I drove south the prices got better. But WHY in Omaha did the prices change twice in one day?

I stopped in Salina Kansas, and paid $2.659. As I was walking out the sign on the street was being changed to $2.99.

(This is all REGULAR unleaded.)

This is scary.
