I can't get past the "on purpose" part. Such poor grammar. ;)

No. Haven't been to that forum. I usually just browse the latest and greatest entries. But I'll check it out. Thanks.

Let It Happen On Purpose
Made It Happen On Purpose

I'd never use "on purpose" in conversation or in writing.

2. I get it...........
its a catch twenty-two situation, you have to use it in the subject line in order to deride it in the message line.

I just don't care for abbreviations, they make you feel "apart" from the clique and somehow "stupid" because you say to yourself, "WTF does that mean?"

BTW, this catch-22 stuff is infective.

10. Me too!!! "On purpose" sounds like that obnoxious 3rd grade girl
ratting you out to the teacher. It's a childish way to say "deliberately" or "intentionally," and I can't remember any adult I know using it, like, ever. And here is an entire board of adults using "on purpose" all the time! It's embarrassing, and I won't say it. I'll bet if you go back and look, the term "LIHOP" (which came first as I remember) was probably developed by a non-native English speaker who learned it as idiom. There was a German LIHOP enthusaist very early on, if I remember that, too...

12. Grammar aside, you can pronounce Lihop and Mihop.
It makes kind of cool code words. You can't do that with the grammatically correct version. You have to say each letter.

14. Actually, LIHI or MIHI would be better acronyms
Let it Happen Intentionally (Lie-High)
Made it Happen Intentionally (My-High)

Just saying...

Also, MIHI would be more appropriate, since anyone who believes it is probably high...
