Why the hell do we even have a Homeland Safety Dept?

Obviously, we have no homeland safety. If we did, we wouldn't have
thousands of people dying with not even the first signs of a coordinated effort to help them.

We spend 100's of billions in Iraq to "liberate the iraqi people". And yet we have no plan to help our own. Isn't this akin to a terrorist attack. If you think of it this way, we are all screwed if a terrorist really did attack a major city!

Bush decided to gut our preparation for natural disasters, ordering FEMA to no longer be involved in readiness planning. Or much else, it seems.

2. It's called Homeland Security, and it's worthless. It does NOTHING

to keep the "homeland" secure. The people in charge of FEMA have been given appoints because of patronige. Not that they know anything about disaster relief, but because they are in the the GOP.

Clinton appointed people that knew what they where doing. Bush as appointed a bunch of party loyalists. Now, when push comes to shove, they haven't a clue.

All the money went into pepperspray, tear gas, and riot gear.
