space. All of the other shelters are full. I can't imagine how many people are already in Houston living out of their cars. Possibly thousands. They need to open up other domes. Maybe the ATL dome can be used.

The people being bussed from the Superdome have to be able to get space in the Astrodome. Can you imagine being put on a bus and driven to Houston and finding out they sent you there without having a place to put you? Sorry, but I understand this move.

The issue is not here. It is in NO and elsewhere where coordination is non existent.

They should have had a number of shelters ready and tell people where to go.

not because they can't find other shelter (which, they can't) but because they are also hoping to find missing relatives coming in from the Superbowl. I think they'd be better off moving on down the road a couple of hours, but the desire to find family is powerful.
