"No One Can Say they Didn't See it Coming"

In 2001, FEMA warned that a hurricane striking New Orleans was one of the three most likely disasters in the U.S. But the Bush administration cut New Orleans flood control funding by 44 percent to pay for the Iraq war

3. My wife heard this today in a waiting room
She was actually going to a job interview, and had to wait in a common waiting area with patients. She ended up arguing with them.

I heard the same thing today from the former state director of a United States Senator at a political cocktail party, and my wife said I was so visibly angry yet so perfectly still, she was afraid for a moment he would leave in a gurney and I would leave in handcuffs.

I have about reached me limit. This shit scum is manipulating a tragedy of staggering proportions to spread hate and derision for it's victims.

I don't know how many more time I can hear this, and do my polite southerner thing.
