39% of DUer's responded that they too are wary of moles around Clark
in an unscientific poll here. What is a mole? One of the best but never stands out the work of a mole is high quality as is the appearance of loyalty to high ranking organization members some virtually dependent upon the mole for their position of authority.

All the while the mole masters all in it's realm. Burrowing deeper and deeper into and throughout the organization with an opposition ideology and intent, patient, quiet, deep inside, a zealot usually.

Clark could be a mole. A lot of questions are scary when it comes to Clark as are some of his military career exploits that have been widely reported on the Internet and other media.

I don't want a flame war. I won't be a sucker. Why do so many DUer's also share this mole concern-how do we deal with Clark today?

He could divide the Party. Mole heaven. Realpolitik.

Its really sad that we as Democrats/progressives are spending so much time trying to tear down one of our own.

If you are a Deanie, or a Kerry supporter tell us why they are good, not why Clark is bad.

Your hypothetical about Clark potentialy being a mole, is just that, a hypothetical fantasy created by you.

Stop acting the same way that the Rethuglicans act : smear first, ask questions later.

We are all in the same boat, we all want King George deposed on 11/4/04 lets stop trying to undercut our fellow progressives.

6. Clark comes out of a neo-conservative dominated DoD
That's for starters, how progressive is that when he publicly restated his friendship and allegience to that crew?

23. "One of our own" - LOL, he went from GOP to IND.!
And he has no record with progressives... Except FUNDRAISING AGAINST THEM.

A GOP or DLC mole would say anything to take the reins of power. The establishment is in major Excorcist/Linda Blair mode right now-- Alternating between sweet cooing and projectile vomiting.

Stop acting like a late-90s Daschale-Democrat: bend over first and clean up afterward.

3. I propose No New Democrats allowed in the party
until we can fully check out their background. This goes DOUBLE for anyone serving in our non-partisan military, since we all know anyone who serves in the military is a Republican that only joined because they like to kill children.

21. First bob; It wasn't 39% of DUers. It was 39% of those..
who chose to participate in the poll. Unless you had 10,000 respondents, you cannot say that 39% of DUers said so and so.. Got it now?

Think about how many DUers rolled their eyes, uttered an explitive and moved on without participating in the poll at all.

28. rolled their eyes, uttered an explitive and moved on without participating
raising my hand.

I don't know enough about Clark to make an informed decision yet. One thing I can say as a gut reaction is that I think Clark will more than likely be the next President. George may put up a good fight for the sake of his party, but I honestly don't think he cares if he's President for another term. He did what he came to do, and that was to go after Iraq and threaten other parts of the world. Clark will further the goals of the US occupied Iraq. It'll be interesting to see if he extends the threat to neighboring Countries in the name of peace and the USA's "interests".

Other questions that need to be answered are how he plans to protect our economy, bring health care to all citizens (it's staggering that almost half of our citizens cannot afford health insurance, this cuts into the middle class who would if they could) and almost every other domestic issue we're facing. Will he go after the corporate criminals?

HOW WILL CLARK TURN OUR COUNTRY AROUND SO THAT WE ARE ASSURED SECURITY?

17. What Facts?
It's a bogus poll. The responders had insufficient choices and were self-selected (ie, it would attract those highly motived by that issue, NOT a random selection.) Not worth taking seriously.

20. Heres an Idea
Go away.

If you like Dennis fine tell us all how great he is, but don't try to win support for him by trying to tear Clark down.

Its really pathetic.

By the way I really like Dennis, I would love to see the next Democratic president appoint him Attorney General, but Dennis ain't going to win.

18. To Be More Precise, Mr. Drummer
Edited on Thu Oct-02-03 10:10 AM by The Magistrate
A little less than one hundred members of this forum elected to indicate agreement with the tomfoolery. This out of about 25,000 active registered members. This two fifths of one percent, being self-selected and not randomly selected, cannot be taken as representative of anything about that great mass of members. Indeed, it is likely that they include just about all the forum members who indulge themselves in such baseless notions.

29. In an earlier post I owned up to design and other flaws in the poll
at no time did I state that it was anything but skewed and yet the numbers were clear. Weird, novel effect? Central tendencies? That is a sizable percentage compared to 61% majority saying no way.

31. And Then, Mr. Drummer
You proceed in analyzing its signifigance to ignore all those things, as you continue to do in the comment above.

As designed, this exercise shows no more than that about one hundred of roughly 25,000 persons agree with the proposition you support, and offers no possibility of concluding these represent the views of any greater proportion than that of the roughly 25,000 persons active in this forum.

34. Not A Bad Breakdown, Ma'am
Converted into the actual numbers voted, eight or nine members of the forum are of the bosoms persuasion, sixteen or seventeen subscribe to the evil space station, etc., about thirty-five are in a cold sweat for their own idol's fate, and little over fifty are incurable pranksters. That sounds about right to me, out of roughly twenty-five thousands registered and active....
