Have we found Cheney yet, head of the Office of National Preparedness?
Bush assigned him that position May 2001. So far, in terms of being prepared for either a terrorist disaster or a natural one, Cheney has not proven to be up to the task.

Bet they are rubbing their hands with glee over this pork barrel. Maybe they can do as good a job as they did in Baghdad

13. Seymour Hersh said on JS (I think it was a repeat) that the word
in Iraq is that the insurgents will launch massive attacks this year and the U.S.A. will have to withdraw. Why the W.H. was so desperate for a constitution. Seymour said they should have negotiated with the insurgents a year ago - when the insurgents gave a shit.

Why the whole Bush team is lying low. They realize history will paint them as idiots.

Also said look for Venezuela, Saudi Arabia, Iran to tighten the screws on the supply of Oil to shut Bush up once and for all. Seymour said the new Saudi Ruler hates the Bush policy on Palestinians. He has been angry at that for years.

Terrifying stuff. If only Rumsfield had gone after Saddam on the humanitarian thing and showed up with UN troops - easily over the 600,000 required for simple regime change. If only they hadn't been drinking jungle juice and ignored WMD conjurerification and focused on other ways of getting rid of Saddam (like the elections Saddam promised to call when Bush went to the UN). If only they had attacked just Afghanistan - done in bin Laden and with their massive troops in there said to Saddam "step down". If only Poppy had done what he should have the first time around.

If only, if only, if only.

So drunk on Oil & its riches that they destabilized the world. The dance of the drunken empire.

18. The Bushies/Cheney would have lost a lot of money on humanitarian
missions. There isn't as much money in bread, leavened or otherwise, as there is in WMD Made in America.

Thanks for your post.
