"Thousands" in NO convention centre - "no one in charge"

The BBC has a journalist (Alastair L-) on the ground in NO, and this morning he was in the convention centre describing what he saw around him and talking to people.

In my view, the BBC is being a bit too "respectful" towards President Bush but that may change.

one of them said she and her family were rescued by "civilians"--other, more official rescuers had passed her by. She declared, "if you're not a business and you're not making money for them, they don't care about you."
