i swear, every time the man goes on one of his baronial vacations i cringe in fear. even mother nature's gotten into the act and timed a hurricane to coincide with w's holiday.

...so I'm assuming he's making plans to head back to the ranch by Friday.

was so that he could ranch it for the 3 day weekend :grr:

OK OK,, he may have to fly out over the weekend for a fund raiser... But it's hard work being King of Vacations.

Or are you referring to the five-week August vacations in Crawford?

In this house, we consider a weekend away from home a vacation. In fact, many "working" trips could be considered a break.

The man is constantly on vacation, it's just that most folks don't notice until he's on his yearly five-week break. He's always taking days off -- I don't recall what the total is now. From what I've read he also hates to work weekends and evenings, even during times of emergency.
