The Business Looting Focus by Aaron Brown (CNN)
Why?
Why is the msm so obsessed with this?

I watched a little of Aaron Brown last night and I saw clip after clip of black people looting businesses.
Is this a play on race?
Are they trying to emulate the COPS TV show for ratings?
Not that looting is good but, isn't this business junk written off anyway?

And the kicker was I saw NO numbers to call to donate to the relief effort in the minutes I watched.

I had to turn it off.

1. My opinion
I think that it's being used as a cover for their ineptitude. I don't know if race plays a role or not. But I KNOW that this government's inability to meet its responsibility is ultimately at fault.

2. That is my opinion too.
Turn the victims into criminals.

3. It's not all bad
I have to say CNN's coverage has been very sensitive to the plight of those effected, especially Aaron Brown's show.Even Paul Zahn has shown a human side.

Looting is a part of the story and New Orleans is clearly very unsafe right now. They really cant ignore it.

4. We've not been sensitized to death in all sorts of ways - we are jaded
Think of where we have gone since 911 - beheadings on the internet, people jumping or falling to their death from burning skyscrapers, IEDs killing every day in Iraq...I don't know if it is the video game syndrome (it isn't real if I can watch it from the comfort of my living room), reality show malaise, or just the undoing of our culture from the worst leader possible (our regrettable misleader) - I think many have lost the ability to empathize - compounded by a ver selfish, me me me society and the incredible danger from rabid religions, which only foster superiority and us vs them. It is all coming undone, or at least leading to something cataclysmic.

5. I thought I heard someone blaming the looters for the search
and rescue going so slow. (I'm not sure because I was busy at the time but that appeared to be the latest excuse).

Has anyone seen a looter on a rooftop to interfere with search and rescue?
