They already drill almost the entire North slope. If people would bother looking at a map of ANWR an realize that by Alaska's geographical standards, it's a little piece of land. To rape and pillage it for any reason is just bullshit. To use one natural disaster to create a man made one is an atrocity.

it's the turning oil into gas, because oil companies are shutting down refineries so they can charge more for oil. proof? check the profits.
