Bush: Compassion? Homey don't play dat!
You know, I think its finally sinking in that George is a sociopath, incapapble of appropriate human concern or compassion.

If you'll recall, what he does manage to emote is anger, hubris and revenge. All of which he used after 9/11, because 9/11 was already over, the people were already dead or rescued, so there was no need at that moment (in his mind) for compassion, and he certainly has spared none for the families. Instead, it was a moment that availed him of the opportunity to claim he was going to get the evildoers.

Now, people, in rose colored glasses, remember back to then and accord him a measure of compassion in their selective memory, but as I think back, I don't think he ever did express compassion or concern...just a call for retribution. THEN, it may have been somewhat appropriate.

NOW, its certainly is not. There is not an enemy in this situation, and by trying to make looters the evildoers and focusing on them is taking an express train whizzing the faint and dying and leaving them to swallow the hard dust of his passage. They are forgotten because George has an enemy to fight.

compassion? Homey don't play dat.
