Katrina victims

To:
President George Bush

September 1, 2005

Dear Mr. President
I am a faithful supporter of your presidency and your father's presidency. I know you are a kind and compassionate person, however, the events taking place on our Gulf Coast are tarnishing your presidency.

Americans are watching the suffering and it seems nothing is being done about it...and I am an avid fan of Fox News.

I feel pain and anguish when I see those people, including small children, sitting on the overpass as they have for two days with no food or water and the National Guard simply drive by them and do nothing. This tragedy calls for swift action and dire measures. The children on the bridge are going to die soon if they are not helped...please send some specific troops to help them. I was just watching Fox News and they are still there.

Your falling short

To:
President George Bush

September 1, 2005

Mr. President,
After 9/11, I believed in you and what you were doing. Now I am so angry there are no words. You are driving our country to a civil war, that is how history will remember you. The illegal imigration invasion, and yes it is an invasion, which you are sitting by and allowing our country to be overrun and our culture to be lost. Along with the outrageous prices of gasoline which will drive the common American into poverty. Do you not care for the people of this country, the ones you swore to serve? Or are you simply concered with lining you own pockets and keeping your belly full? The words I want to write would probably get me arested, just know this feeling is growing in the popuation of our country.

New Orleans

To:
President George Bush

September 1, 2005

Please get the troops into New Orleans. I am a citizen of Dallas, Texas. I don't know of a single person here that I have talked to that is not in disbelief that the president of the United States is unable to make this happen. I am losing my faith in the United States military capabilities to handle an emergency. You can send troops into a foreign country but can't seem to get them into your own home. What is our future, what is your future? I voted for you Mr. President, I know you can turn this around.

Richardson , TX

3. The Chimp is "kind and compassionate"???
He doesnt have a kind and compassionate bone in his body.

He does not care what is happening, because it isnt happening to his "base".

But I give Faux some credit if even they are showing some of what is really going on there.

That's what I run into alot where I am. I have to import printed news before people will believe what I'm saying. It's really sad.

She just KNOWS he's a compassionate man. She needs no evidence. She's just 100% certain. She's also 100% wrong.

Heh lady what about those little Iraqi kids. Ain't they worthy of your sympathy as well? What does Fox News tell you to do about them?

10. Here's her first mistake.
Thinking bush is "a kind and compassionate person" when all actions show that is clearly not the case at all. Too bad it takes a national disaster of this magnitude to wake people like her up.

11. 'Fraid not
Just saw one get tombstoned for a "Why do you hate America" rant. This letter confirms that. Fox News? Freepers are too stupid, too brain-washed, too attached-to-the-system to wake up. That's why they're freepers.

12. Dear Faithful Supporter:
Edited on Thu Sep-01-05 09:04 AM by Crankie Avalon
I have read your letter and given it a great deal of thought. You say you see disturbing pictures while you are watching FOX News and that something ought to be done. You are right--action is required.

Therefore, I have instructed FOX to stop showing these images and to redouble their focus on missing white women in Aruba and the like. Hope that solves your problem.

Remember, you watch FOX to escape from reality, not to be reminded of it. Don't worry your empty little head over it.

Sincerestly,

X

George W. Bush
President of the United States of Murka

15. That Bridge Is Getting A Lot Of Reaction
Sadly it seems that unless they actually watch the people die, then people start getting a clue.

Faux might be undoing their own manchild with this story. Having Shep get stuck with these people forced that network to focus on the unfolding tragedy and have one of their own stuck in the mess.

Ratings are showing Faux with an almost 3 to 1 lead over CNNServative and 5 to 1 over MSGOP...so having this story play over and over is getting to the dittoheads and kool-aid drinkers that there's really something wrong going on here.

I'm sensing what I'll call a "Schaivo" reaction happening here. People saw the over-the-top zealots and that scared the "moderates" who only tune in when there's something really big happening (OJ, Peterson, MJ)...this started the shake people into looking a little closer at meester boosh and the people he associates with. Ever since it's been more bad news upon bad news, but this is having it's own synergy.

Looks like people who have had the blinders on (many willingly) now have to remove them. They can see themselves on that highway overpass with the trucks going by. They can see themselves on those roofs waiting for a precious helicopter to swoop them up. They even see the looting and can see themselves doing the same for some fresh food, clothes or something they can barter for what they need.

Unlike 9/11 where meester boosh had the political capital to play "hero"...5 years later what i'll call "bush fatigue" is setting in and setting in fast. His coven knows he's choked and they're still trying to come up with their excuses as to why.

To:
President George Bush

September 1, 2005

Dear president,
I went out this morning, drove my kids to
school, came back to the house, got my coffee
then left for work. I had to stop and get
gas. Then all of a sudden I looked up and saw
the gas prices. How am I suppose to get back and forth to work on what is going in my tank? I am a mother of two,I can barely make it on what I make. What are the young americans going to do? We voted for you to help us.I am 26 and had all the faith in the
world in you,but now my heart has been broken
and I will probably never vote again, because
I seen what my vote did. Hopefully you will
take this letter to heart, and reconsider
those gas prices Please!!!

Sincerly
