As far as cutting money for natural disasters let's place the blame where
it belongs. Congress(Republicans) controls the purse strings of America, not Bush*. Bush* makes his suggestions (budget) but it is Congress (Republicans) who decide what to cut and what not to cut. Republicans are the responsible parties for cutting the monies needed to shore up the Levees in New Orleans not Bush*. Bush* is responsible for the delays in getting aid to the victims when there was ample warning well in advance of just how severe this could be yet Bush* had to "get on with his life" IOW could not be bothered. After all he was on "Vacation". It is about time the true culprits are brought to publics attention about funding issues though. It is not all about Bush*. It is about the way the Republicans are running the country. Incompetence is the issue and they havbe proved at every opportunity they are just that.

1. Let's clean house then.
These people are clearly not competent to run the country. They need to get their priorities straight. Not that I haven't been saying this all along, but shit, this thing is so ugly.

2. This is what happens when REPUBLICANS are in control of everything
You're right. We can't just say Bush this and Bush that. The whole lot of them are responsible for these failures.

3. Why doesn't he VETO some of this shit?
* has been all to happy to go along. He has a duty to protect us from such "incompetance".

Too bad he has other priorities.
