George Bush is no different now that he has been for last 5 years...
or his entire lifetime, for that matter. The only difference, it is difficult for people to cover for him this time. But, he hasn't changed. It's always about him. He is no more arrogant or uncaring now than he was on 9/11...or when he mocked the lady about to be put to death. This is the same Bush. Only now, he is exposed and nobody can redefine the reality we now see. At least, not yet...

1. Yeah he is
He's older, sicker, has even fewer brain cells, and is really pissed off at the world because he doesn't have time or sufficient privacy for the odd bender. He's even meaner and less caring, if that is humanly possible...

2. yup
same way he was for the tsunami - the man does not have a speck of a conscience and certainly cares nothing about the people living in despair in the gulf states

3. Bush has no compassion and no heart
I don't reckon those things were valued too highly by his family
when he was growing up. Poppy and babs are hardly the 'bleeding
heart kind' now are they? ;-)

4. The storm blew the covers off and now all of America
gets to see the real bush.

uncaring, out of touch, selfish, lazy, rude, and only happy when surrounded by
his rich "buddies."

12. Yes, but it's all the world that's getting to see his true face
Not just all of America, but the rest of the world now knows that his own people mean no more to him than those of foreign countries.

He's equally apathetic to everyone not of his ilk.

6. he is much different
He can no longer read text without erra
He cannot deal with adversity
He is becoming more mentally ill
He is developing pathological needs and problems
He is running back to daddy for help with adult-sized problems.

"Daddy, daddy, come and bail me out again, PuhLEEEZE! I promise not to torture your cat ever again. Sure you can take your friend with you, but keep him out of the White House."

7. He has no "leadership skills"
He should be the night manager at a McDonald's in Kansas, and even that may be beyond his level of competence.

11. Cutting funding for hurricane-protection projects is symptomatic microcosm
of this Administration's entire agenda: everything is solely driven by an extreme RW PNAC agenda and nothing else matters a whit IMHO.

14. He could cheerlead after 9/11-- that's something he can do....
But this requires both a brain and a heart, and Bush has serious deficiencies in both of those areas. I can imagine Rove trying his best, sending him out there to the Rose Garden, and on ABC. And it's not in him. This requires caring, and Bush just doesn't care. He doesn't care. So Rove brings in Poppy and Bill. Bill does care, and Poppy, at the least, looks the part.

I hope this is opening the eyes of some people, especially in my native South, Bush's heartland of support.

15. Shrub lives in a fantasy world where he makes the reality
and his idea of reality is hell on earth for the common man and free enterprise and capitol for the Rich.... He is responsible for all those people in NO in my book and he is not accepting help from other countries. He is not aware of suffering of babies and elderly.

16. I was thinking the exact same thing this morning
It's just all about power and revenge. The opposite of what the founding fathers conceived.
