I kind of pictured airplanes dropping MRE's and bottled water like they did in the Asian tzunami.Would'nt that make sense and be very easy to do?

The tsunami waters receded fairly fast. So supplies could be dropped anywhere, and people could get to them. New Orleans is still a lake, and it's going to be that way for a while.

thing last night, and that's what I was thinking too. Why aren't they doing this? They could drop provisions from helicopters.
