Should we be taking this to the streets? We need to demand action
and try and save as many lives as we can from Bush's incompetence.

5. Must be a personal sacrifice
the more it hurts the more it means

Bush in the harbor is not a sacrifice, it is a goal

7. I want so badly to go to DC. Hubby won't let me (we have small kids) and
he is worried that something bad will happen there.

So I will try to do something locally.

13. I worry about that too
But i don't have kids/family that depend on me.

I wouldn't go if I had children because you never know....

God, i pray that nothing bad happens.

15. I searched online to see if I could find anything happening in ME.
Only found info on buses going to DC.

No matter. I know whatever you do locally will have an effect, GPV. You're just that kind of gal.

16. Well, Belfast is a hot spot for activity and closer than Augusta so
We might try to get out that way. I need to get some stuff to make signs and charge up the camera batteries.

8. Unfortunately, on my street there are only a handful of
old folks to take notice. ;)

My fantasy is (1) Bill Clinton cold-cocks Bush and takes control of the situation and (2) Al Sharpton commandeers time on every TV and cable network and lets the administration have it with every ounce of biting wit he has.

A girl can dream, can't she?

9. We should organize and go volunteer to help
in the south first.

Kind of like the minutemen did, except with purely good intentions

11. Let's not give them an excuse to declare martial law everywhere
Let's raise money, hold prayer vigils and call or write letters to the media demanding to know what the * misadministration is actually doing to help. Hold their feet to the fire.

12. If this were the recent earlier America of the 60s and 70s, Bush
would have been done - Americans already would have have marched on the White House way before now. He would have never I repeat never gotten away with this. A speical session of congress would be going on as we are chatting right now (no matter what party was in charge) with the purpose of removing him from office. This country has just become so stupid in the last 30 years.
