If folks are still stuck in their attics they are not alive.

NO is a town of 800K? That means 250,000 homes. Even if 75% evacuated prior to the Hurricane. That is still 50,000 homes that needs to be checked. But EMS/FEMA does not have any idea which houses might be occupied

If people are stuck inside with no water. no food, extreme heat and no way to get on the roof..... for four day...the odds are awful.


If they are on the roof, that is another thing altogether.

But S&R is going to have to be replaced with a slow ugly recovery efforts.


Wait till the gators start showing up on canal street.
