As oil prices rise, Dems have a chance to make big oil albatross for GOP

Let's review:

GOP kills alternative fuel research


GOP invades oil producing country to steal oil, fails, and inflames ill-will against us in other oil producing countries.

GOP lies about peak and coming decline of oil supply and how urgent the need is to switch to other forms of energy, so their buddies in the oil industry can make as much as possible for every last drop of oil.

Even some right wing talk radio hosts are bad-mouthing the oil companies.


The democrats have a historic opportunity to regain the blue collar vote if they have the courage to take it, and the GOP can no more shed big oil than they can the religious right.
