As long as we're piling onto Rish Limbaugh...
http://www.cigaraficionado.com/Cigar/CA_Profiles/People_Profile/0,2540,18,00.html

It discusses Rush's love for Cuban cigars, depicted him smoking five Cuban cigars in one day while in New York City, told how Rush loves to buy a box of Cuban cigars and hand them out to his American friends.

The Treasury Department's Office of Foreign Assets Control says any purchase, sale or use of a Cuban product (there is an exception for licensed travelers to Cuba, who may bring back two boxes of cigars for personal use) can result in confiscation of the assets, civil fines of $55,000 per violation (each cigar is a separate violation) and criminal prosecution.

If Rush is nailed on the OxyContin thing, and he's really been doing distributor-level trading in that drug, someone from the Treasury Department may want to visit Mr. Limbaugh's home and take a look inside his humidors.

Note to the Treasury Department: many hardcore cigar fans use Igloo coolers as humidors.

1. Right Spot on. GOP has been very vocal about maintaining Cuban Embargo
Rush is boasting about his Cuban Cigars so in effect about breaking the GOP sponsored Embargo. Hypocrisy on loan from God.

2. Hey, leave him alone for breaking the Cuban embargo.
Just nail him for drug dealing. Then he can go to a prison with lots of Philly Eagles fans among the inmates. ;-)

4. I believe in the Office of Piling It On
This is something I came up with in the Army. You'd read about some guy getting court-martialed and he'd be up on seventy or eighty charges and specifications. This came from the Office of Piling It On, which was staffed by two lawyers armed with a copy of the Manual for Courts-Martial, who would sit there after an arraignment came in and go, "okay, what else can we get this guy on?" And next thing you know, a guy who was up just for running fifteen red lights is also being charged with raping the Mother of God.

The OPIO has two functions: to ensure that the guilty go to jail for something--hey, they threw Al Capone in jail for income tax evasion--and to ensure that if they do get a conviction, he gets plenty of jail time.

So let's see...a couple thousand Cuban cigars at $55,000 per stick adds up to $110 million in fines, or enough to keep Bush's illegal oil war going for an hour and twenty minutes. Talk about supporting the troops!
