We think he's stupid and heartless, which he certainly is, but he has some of the best, most effective PR people to steer him and build his image. Those people who came up with the axis of evil and the "mission accomplished" feat, they're not stupid. They see Bush's ratings fall through the floor and they let him play the guitar on TV? Let me repeat: those people are not stupid, they know what these images are going to do. Apparently this is what they want.

Not even our elected officials seem to want to do anything when the time is overdue. I'm not exactly a big supporter of the dems in office these days, but at some point you have to think there are a few truly decent ones out there in a position to do something. I say we wait until the big date to see if anyone does anything first. I'm sure the administration will do something on sept 11th to further try things, so we'll just have to see.

It's just so hard to contain your rage when you see things as they are happening now.
