out there. I was just out getting gas to pick up my child from school, and am having the EXACT same vibe I had then.

The government screws up BIGTIME and people know it. Back then we didn't have the added pressure of no gas. Most pumps are now closed here in Charlotte, NC.

The media can't EVEN cover up for Bush's failures anymore. Too many are dying.

Call your local papers and newschannels and schoolboards. I really think opening school tomorrow when gas tanks are empty and people are dying and missing is just too risky for the incredibly frayed social fabric holding this region together right now.

Those who CAN keep calm need to be heard. Noone BELIEVES Bush anymore.

1. I'm in Pittsburgh, PA
Today as I was waiting for a bus there was a man across the street ranting about gas prices. He looked like a totally normal resident of the neighborhood other than the fact that he was ranting and raving at the top of his lungs. The gas station down the street is out of gas, although the prices before they closed seemed ok (less than $3 a gallon).

I live in a very upscale neighborhood of Pittsburgh where we don't often see people yelling on the street. We also generally don't see gas shortages. I think this is just the tip of the iceberg - people are really, really pissed off.
