You can say what you want about the first Bush - much less incompetent than his son, and Clinton - much more competent than the whole administration put together. Clinton, if they gave him a chance, would have talked about people and rescue - not oil. Even if he was heavily into oil, he would have thought of the people first. He, at least, is human.
