Roll back credit interest rates, roll back tax breaks to the wealthy,
roll back oil PROFITS, and then average working men and women, who are by far the most generous of Americans, will be able to contribute to helping the hurricane victims. Most families who really want to help are so strapped themselves that they are hesitant to offer help.

Bush is pathetic and so is most of his administration...fund raising will not cease nor will gouging the consumer.

There is absolutely no excuse for the military not being able to arilift food and water to the people in NO, Biloxi, Gulfport, and Mobile and other places. NO EXCUSE and any given is unacceptable.

1. Excellent idea
Bush said today that every citizen has a responsibility to help. But have Halliburton, Cheney, Rumsfeld et al contributed anything yet?

And you are sooooo right. Roll back those tax-cuts for the rich and for SUV owners.

End the multi-billion dollar quagmire and bring home the troops and stop spending Fema money on foreign wars. I don't remember ever being this angry, because they were warned about their stupid, harmful policies and those of us who warned them, were called traitors. NOW, he turns to us??? People he would not even allow into his stupid propaganda rallies? Get help from your friends, George, they have most of our money.

And where's Cheney? He had to appear with Clinton. Doesn't he have a VP? What are we paying Cheney for? That's more money that could be 're-directed' to a more worthy cause.

2. All those roll backs would also help the "victims" of the Bush admin
since he took office.
