Gasoline is a finished petroleum product made from oil.

So is:

• motor oil
  
• diesel fuel
  
• aircraft fuel
  
• furnace oil
  
• lubricating grease
  
• artificial coffee whitener (yes, it's high on my list)
  
• plastics
  
• paint, stain, varnish, thinner
  
• feed stock, fertilizer, other farm stuff
  
• asphalt
  
• roofing tar
  

Also don't forget that all these filter down the other direction.

EVERYTHING is made out of plastic including things you wouldn't normally think of eg. plastic gears inside your DVD player, car etc.
