It's all about the reporters being there. They are having to deal with this tragedy themselves, and it's affecting many of them in a very deep way.
I have watched less than 15 minutes of coverage on television, and in that time I saw no less than 3 reporters cry or get chocked up. How many do you think we'd see if they saw Iraqi children and American soldiers dying in the same way?
