Clothing donations?
Does anyone know of organizations that are starting up clothing donations?

I have stuff that I can donate.

1. I don't but
I wonder too. I have a large amount that are new or were prepared to sell. I'd like to donate them instead because at some point they would be so useful. But I know agencies want money now.

2. Salvation Army Stores
If you drop off clothing at a Salvation Army store, it will get to victims of Katrina.

However, if you call and ask for a truck to pick up the clothing, it will be routed to their thrift stores inventory.

4. I'm in Dallas, and I found out that Salvation Army is coordinating
donations of clothing and other things for refugees being sheltered in Dallas. You might check with your local SA.
