Pre-positioned my ass, another LIE slips by the MSM
Why hasn't ANYONE in the MSM asked where these supplies were pre-positioned, and if they were pre-positioned, why is it taking so long to get millions of MRE's, millions of bottles of water, millions of pounds of ice, but not millions of pounds of bullshit to the victims of this catastrophe?

1. Wolf just did
of all people and pointed out the impossibility of them not knowing this was possible. They knew NOLA was at risk for years and the power and direction of this storm was first talked about a week a go, within an hour of the storm leaving Florida. Why weren't they ready?

And many are saying-if they say they were ready, where is the water?

2. Bush declared state of emergency on Saturday, prediction was catastrophe
for the region. Yes, this is precisely what was expected. What was unexpected is the fed gov't lack of immediate effective response.

3. Bullshit = Bushit ..... and all the republican politicians use both....
....I was listening to Gov. Jeb Bush here in Florida early today and he summed up by concluding that there is an adequate supply of all fuel, the residents of Florida just need to voluntarily conserve and not panic. He even suggested unplugging our TVs to conserve electricity. The state secretary for energy conservation (that was a new one on me) then followed Jeb by saying that he has turned his AC thermostat up to 98F (bullshit alarm) and suggests the rest of Florida follow his example.

All the politic ans are doing is talking and covering their wide asses so that shortages can be blamed on irresponsible consumers. The same state energy secretary said they were going to come down hard of gas retailers who engage in profiteering and price gouging by doing audits against any violators. Feel good rhetoric.

We passed three gas stations which were out of fuel and stopped to fill up at one which only had premium at $3.199 per gallon. Four days ago (Monday morning) that same station was selling regular unleaded at $2.539 per gallon.
