????volunteers to help in the astrodome told to take course on 9-7???
saw this on swamprats post to save NO

i live just outside of houston
i am planning on going into the Astromdome tomorrow, if they will let me in, up till now they would not permit it. said i needed to
"take a orientation class on the 7th" the 7th???? i said i was a nurse and computer literate and can clean and cook or wash dishes or
bathe people... whatever, and they said they will call back... so far nothing.................. still waiting...

2. This is so part of the problem
I noticed last night that newsmen that were right there couldn't help people either, had to leave them, said they couldn't help. I'm guessing since a lawyer is now in charge of FEMA they are more interested in their legal position rather than ACTUALLY HELPING....
