1). The ESPN is already over as far as hurting Rush goes. I mean he did kind of lose his dream job, and that's got to hurt personally, but to his base he is going to come across as the man who dared to speak truth to the power of Political Correctness. It won't affect him at all.

2). Who knows how far the Drug Story is going to go? I mean Rush hasn't exactly denied it, but he may, and he may turn out to be innocent. It's not like his housekeeper didn't have a motive to bring this forward (one can assume she's made a little bit of money off the Enquirer story). I'm not sayings it's not true, it may be. But the evidence isn't in yet.
