...among the headlines:"
"City not safe for anyone"
"Frustration, guns, death."

2. Heat, dehydration, hunger...
Plus lack of visible, competent leadership = recipe for disaster.

People go mad with less provocation. Truly. Anyone stranded that's not dead today or tomorrow may completely lose their minds.

3. "Frustration" is much to benign
"utter desperation and hopelessness" would be more accurate.

4. I heard they're missing news staff and editor's daughter is missing, too.
This could also be why the news organizations aren't cutting BushInc ANY breaks. No more cover ups.

7. It is like Iraq when we did not have enough troops to keep the peace
Edited on Thu Sep-01-05 05:24 PM by ignatius 2
after we invaded. In this case, from what I have read,40% of the La. and Ms. National guard is in Iraq..not enough troops to keep the peace.

So Bush cut the funds to the SELA project by 44% and sent a like amount of National Guard to Iraq and Afghanistan.

Way to protect our homeland,Georgie Boy. I wonder how much more of our infrastructure nation wide is so flimsy if a national disaster were to strike and is being underfunded by this administration?
