14. Yes, it's Murdoch...
but Sky News is nowhere near as toxic as Fox. There is Sky UK and Sky Australia - the Australian one occasionally does some very good reporting.

4. They knew long before May
The levees were only built to withstand a Cat3. Levee failure wasn't a fucking secret....

10. Depraved indifference is a criminal offense
The cutting of funds to the Corps of Engineers so the Bush could give tax breaks to the rich and carry on a war thus becomes a domestic crime.

Bush's indifference to the deaths he potentiated is nothing less than depraved. I haven't the resources to donate to N.O. relief and an impeachment movement, but I sure wish I did.

I have never been SO ready for an alternative solution in my life.
Clinton got impeached for lying about sex in his office.

HOW are Bush's decisions to ignore the risk he placed hundreds of thousands of people in LESS offensive? I don't think they are.

12. They knew *way* before that.

They've cut funding dating back to 2003 from what I've read. And knowledge that the levees weren't good enough predates the Bush Admin by years and years. FEMA warned of this disaster in 2001, Bush cut funding, and those cuts played a direct role in the flooding of NO.
