We failed to stop 9/11 because of incompetence. We went into war with Iraq because of incompetence. We failed to prevent the flooding of New Orleans because of incompetence. We're failing to help the victims of Hurricane Katrina because of incompetence.
This administration is guilty of criminal incompetence and neither the media nor the Democrats are effectively getting that fact across.

1. I disagree with what you say about the Media |
|
I think they have done a good job on putting pressure on people to get them to move their asses faster.
As to the Democrats The Dem Senator of LA said it best "there will be plenty of time for blame later, I just want to get the help to the people now". That is a paraphrase.

7. thanks, this is an email I sent to caffertyfile@cnn.com yesterday |

I admire you for showing so much compassion for those suffering in the aftermath. With all the thousands that may have lost loved ones and still don't know, the hundreds of thousands that know they have lost everything, that you still have enough compassion left over for the looting victims to make them the top story is truly astonishing.

4. the media helped create the problem |
|
by not reporting on the inevitable effects of diverting funds to iraq in the first place...not to mention everything else that's happened since 2000. it's high time for those responsible to be held accountable for their incompetence and duplicity, before the next disaster keeps everyone too busy to put the blame where it belongs.
