Prediction: Bush administration won't survive the Fall
Watch: MSM reporters growing increasingly strident and increasingly bringing the story to the people about New Orleans, which simply won't go away. The comparisons to the suffering going on in Iraq will be unavoidable. (this watchpoint is probably obvious by now)

Watch: In the next few weeks, we'll see increasing numbers of blog articles, then MSM op-ed articles, calling for the resignation of the Bush administration.

Watch: Cindy's bus tour builds a surprisingly high degree of followership for the ultimate march on Washington, with similar rallies going on across the country in late september, with perhaps many rallies taking place before that time.

Watch: People fed up with super-high gas prices and Bush's ineptness in general engage in increasing bouts of violence with remaining support for the president, along with increasing numbers of spontaneous shouting of anti-Bush slogans and sign waving in many unexpected locations.

Watch: Growing numbers of Americans calling for "dangerous" ways to deal with Bush, and the Secret Service will be furiously busy visiting said persons. In fact, they will have more work than they can handle here.

And the above is merely the start of it all... leading up to the end of the Bush administration.

If the times we live in weren't so horrid, I would advise stocking up on popcorn... it's going to be a "great show" to behold.

1. Bush will never resign.
He will leave office in one of three ways;

- Impeachment
- End of his term
- Death

5. As I've said many times, he'll be martyred (by his own).
I'm guessing it'll be in early-to-mid-2008. The GOPlutofascists can't afford having him around as a loose cannon - meltdown and embarassment. He's far, far more useful as a martyr.

Can you imagine the George W. Bush Memorial on the Mall?

Jesus Christ.

31. I think you're on to something there....
There have been a lot of people asking where Cheney is....

Maybe he's holed up in an 'undisclosed location' somewhere writing his inauguration speech...

25. Sending out letters screaming for help
and being compassionate caring people.

Where are the Rethugs? Ignoring and abandoning the people they swore an oath to protect.

Rethugs are loathsome bastards. They should all be forced to resign before their cruel and heartless actions cause any more suffering and death.

America will not forget this betrayal of democratic principles byt the Rethugs.

27. I'll see your bet and raise you..
I've long contended that Bush won't leave the WH willingly at all, term over or not. It will take some properly sanctioned federal or international body to remove him from office. He will never willingly step down.

29. I'm thinking September 11, part deux ....
He's such a vengeful, hateful, digusting bastard he would manufacture a terrorist attack in a second just to get back at the nation for criticizing his "performance".

I think the rest of 2005 is going to be a nightmare.

of these gas prices and the doubling of credit card minimum payments hit the stores hard (except of course for places like Niemann-Marcus).

4. The question of the hour: will NOLA be seen like 9/11 or Iraq?
Right now, it seems like the latter.

I want to cry. I normally don't. Those poor, poor people. This is so sick and wrong.

8. It will be seen as it really is --
A major US city was devastated, and Bush took four-and-a-half leisurely days before he lifted a finger to help.

THEN we found out that he had gutted the very programs that could have minimized or even prevented this catastrophe -- all to prosecute his recreational war.

That death toll isn't going to help him at all, either. We'll have a pretty good idea in about a week. And the ghosts of every sweet old white-haired granny and cute little baby who will have died of drowning, heatstroke, starvation, dehydration, disease, or violence will haunt him until his own dying day.

21. It won't haunt him.
The fact that his legacy will be "Worst President in US history" will haunt him; that's the only thing he cares about. War President...ho hah. But he doesn't care about any deaths he has caused. He couldn't, and start an unnecessary war, ignore probably the worst natural disaster in our history for four fucking days, and cut funding for social programs for the most vulnerable in our society. He's a sociopath.

10. "Terrorism" (of the human kind) seems insignficant compared to Katrina.
As the horrors of our own incompetence and greed stretch on, I doubt many will regard any "terrorist threat" (other than nuclear) as more frightening than having a natural disaster where your own country fail to come to your assistance -- as people die on the streets of an American city and their bodies just lie there.

6. I like your prediction. I think you may be on to something here. It's
a PR nightmare. Bush's indifference to the suffering of his own people. His insincere comments. His "...first we have to get a handle on it..." bullshit. He is a colossal failure. It's going to be more and more obvious that he is. He cannot lead. He cannot serve. The public perception is bad and getting worse. YES!

Perhaps one day we will wake up to the news that * and Company have all been indicted.

It will happen but how many more people will have to die to sate their greed? :grr:

that was the doom of the Lord of the Nazgul in Lord of the Rings, and lo and behold, his end came at the hands of a woman and a hobbit.

14. It will take the 06 elections to get the bastard out of office and ...
even then, the people are going to have to turn out and RESOUNDINGLY defeat his congressional zombies. With enough new blood in the congress, both houses, we can get this fucking stone out of our shoe.

But not until then.

that they have MURDERED, with their STUPIDITY, GREED AND INSANITY. THEY SHOULD BE THROWN IN THE HAGUE AND LEFT THERE TO ROT FOR AS MANY YEARS AS THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE THEY HAVE MURDERED.

I am filled with horror at the criminality of these MENTALLY ILL BASTARDS that have stolen 2 elections, planned and created 9/11, Iraq, and NO,... IT IS ENOUGH.

I cannot imagine the karma that awaits these vile, vile beings.
