There has been information for those stranded in New Orleans from CNN and MSNBC all day long. Advice from FEMA etc. CNN just took the cake -giving psychological advice for the parents of the children. How the are any of the people who are still stuck in New Orleans to listen to this? They are getting no news at all!

5. I don't think these kids are children anymore

For those old enough to understand what's going on, I think their childhood is probably lost. To lose everything, go hungry and witness death around you...I imagine it changes you forever, no matter how old or young you are.

I certainly hope they can all get psychological help but with the state of our health care system, I'm not optimistic.

the refugees stranded in shelters outside of the city?

If it's for the people still in New Orleans I'd have to rank it up there with the woman who advised people without power that they could report an outage at the power company's website if they did not have phone service.

Uh, tony, WHEN they get their electricity back, it will likely be used for purifying water, making ice, powering respirators, and keeping blood from spoiling. Maybe TV some time after that.
