Have you heard any rumors about bank panics?

I heard people talking about stores in the Southeast going to a cash-only policy, and that this could start a bank panic. Has anyone heard any more about this?

4. No, just some gas stations are asking for cash only.

I think it's because the station doesn't have to pay any credit card fees, no risk of bad or stolen cards, and until the pipelines are all functioning again, they're all short on gas. Biggest deal is that nobody carries cash anymore, but it's only for fuel so I wouldn't worry about the banks.
