It doesn't matter whether you are talking about energy prices going through the roof and having a free marketeer at the FERC declining to place caps on energy costs.

It doesn't matter if you are talking about evacuating a city prior to a storm at the end of the month when people are LEAST likely to have the funds left to hop in the car and skip out of town.

It doesn't matter whether you are talking about the price of gas when these gluttons have gotten tax cuts in the energy bill, subsidies up the ass and NO REGULATION (along with a hurrican gift of relaxing air quality standards and blended fuels)

It doesn't matter whether you are talking about the victims of 911 and the fact that the president's mouthpiece channel FOX NEWS portrayed those victims as golddiggers when they demanded to be compensated for their losses.

This parade of horribles in New Orleans...five days after the storm when people still don't have food and water, people are being raped and beaten in shelters because all order has been abandoned because LEADERSHIP did not rear it's head from the crowd.

THIS...THIS SHIT..THIS UNACCEPTABLE FOLLY OF A DISASTER POLICY is what happens when your party's national policy can be summed up in three words.

I don't think the ones in control really want to fuck the poor. It's more a matter of they really "don't give a fuck" about anyone but themselves, and enhancing their power and riches. If the poor are fucked as a result of their policies they really just don't give a flying fuck. They will however, fuck anyone who gets in their way, or at a minimum tell them to "go fuck themselves".
