Although I love the Rush develpments, we can't lose focus

Rush Limbaugh has been hung out to dry, and being the ravenous scavengers the Right has forced us to be we have been tearing his carcass limb from limb. This is good - scavengers have to eat too and what better than a fat white guy unwilling to change.

But keep in mind we haven't won. This isn't a win, just casualties inflicted on the enemy. Rush, the blowhard of the Right, has gone down. Soon some key Bush administration officials will as well (and I'm praying it will unravel the entire administration like a cheap sweater) but WE'RE NOT THERE YET.

We still control absolutely nothing. The Media is still right-leaning, although betrayed and looking for blood. The Supreme Court is barely stacked towards the Right, and could teeter into their complete conotrol with just one retirement. Congress is still the Right's go to boy, and - well, there's still a right-wing squatter in the White House.

So tear off a piece of gristle from the bones of the dead whale, cause God only knows we need the nourishment. But don't get fat and lazy - we have big work to do and need all the sustinance we can get.

4. True only a small battle victory

The war mongers still control the board. It is sweet to see some of this payback finally coming up though, and we do deserve some good news. It does feed our souls that these hypocrites get what is coming to them.

I think getting things to happen quickly like the racist Rush off ESPN that quickly is a major victory The illegal drug story connection is absolute gravy . The ESPN story was very fast action by the media, the Democrat presidential candidates and the public who commented. People can be effective.

The Wilsongate/Traitorgate story is also being fueled finally by the media as well. It will continue to have legs so long as the public keeps their interest in it. We have to make sure that keeps happening. Do not let that story die. It may still be unresolved in the '04 race and still be a big issue. The fact that Wilson's wife is/was connected to WMD investigations makes it an issue that will not go away. They can not put a lid on it as if it was just a Monicagate type issue. This has very serious security implications to it.

Finally, yes we need to do as much as we can to support the left as they start rolling out their radio and cable shows. Support their advertisers. It took the right many decades to get where they are now and we are way behind to catch up overnight. Keep the faith.

They are adding new details: Rush had multiple dealers for this stuff, a variety of different types of drugs. They also said that Rush's employers tried to buy off the maid, and that they have wiretaps of Rush trying to buy.

If FOX is all over this, Rush is truly screwed.
