to hate. A conspicuous lack of flag waving on this one, no post-hurricane "bounce". What the hell is he going to do?

Earlier today, CNN showed footage of a guy and his wife, older couple, standing outside of what used to be their house. It was totally flattened and mostly gone.

He saw the American flag and went over to pick it up. I thought he was going to try to put it up on a tree or something.

Instead he shook his head, dropped it on the ground and started to walk off. His wife shook her head too and held up her arms in disgust and walked off with him.

They were white, btw.

8. Well he has already found an enemy. Just refuse to send in the federal

military in any real way and the criminal element will grow (due to lack of threat against them) and make for great TV.

Give it a while. The more violent crime the better the enemy it will make.

Bush just can't get all worked up over this one because he can't go on TV and swear to hunt someone down and get them dead or alive. Stuff like that really gets him fired up. Natural disaster? Meh, not so much.
