I heard the Homeland Security director on NPR at around 6:00 this evening saying they didn't Know anything 'bout no starving people at the coliseum. Said it was all "rumours".

The NPR guy told him he had their journalist on the OTHER LINE telling him - there are 2000 people here NO FOOD and NO WATER!!! A little bit later after the interview, the NPR guy said thd Homeland Security guys ASSISTANT called back to say, oh yeah, he got a phone call confirming some of what you said and we'll get right on that.

Now FEMA is saying they "don't know". BS!

for why it's not their fault. Why nothing is ever their fault. Mostly they just have excuses for everything and no accountability! So this "no fault" government doesn't seem very sane to me. Hurricanes are not the governments fault. Being ill prepared for them is. Overspending elsewhere is. Lack of leadership once they occur is. Always it's not their fault.
