150 million dollars was not spent preventing this disaster. Now Republican leadership doesn't want to rebuild. Let's not let them rebuild. People who care, think and listen should rebuild. Staying the course when it is a ride to hell?
The Republicans have been pushing these thinking points. "Selfishness is good." "Sharing is Communism." "Generosity is too expensive."
Can we trust a leader that places selfishness as a primary business and ethical good? Can we see that if the same man calls himself a Christian, he is lying, at the very least to himself?
Right now as we speak, playground bullies are in charge of helping during this disaster.
Right now as we speak, the same people that have managed to loose 9 billion dollars, and say there is no way to trace were it went, are in charge of rescue operations.
Right now as we speak, our election system is unsound, easily altered, and unverifiable. These same playground bullies are in control of our voting machines.
Peoples lives are at stake. Games have been played. Children are dying and there is no teacher or principal that I can tug on the skirt of and tell on these bullies. Unless we unite, and unite strongly, the playground bullies will continue this for much longer that the three long years we have before us.
